Some important notes to consider

Introduction 'Meet and Greet' Process

We always make sure we meet any new dog who may want to come into our care at a meet and greet, introduction session. This is a short meeting where you can bring your dog and view our premises, ask any questions you may have and we can discuss you dogs requirements in more detail.

Responsible Dog Owner

All dogs that come into our care should be neutered or spayed (unless a young puppy) and should not be aggressive or dominant. As a minimum, your dogs vaccinations should be up to date and we require sight of these documents (DHLPP and Bordatella (kennel cough]). It is also a very good idea that your dog is using effective flea & tick preventatives.

Dog Trial Day

We always recommend a trial day to ensure your dog enjoys their time with us and any other dogs we look after. Following the trial day, then dogs will be on a bedding in period of up to three months, depending upon how regular they visit us, in case their behaviour changes due to a new environment and being with other dogs. Should your dogs sociability become unsuitable at any time, their care privileges maybe be suspended.

Opening Hours

Our doggy day care service provision runs form 8am to 6.30pm (Monday to Friday) and 9am - 5pm (Saturday and Sunday), however on some occasions we are able to be flexible on this, please contact us to find out more.

Dogs eating habits can change when they are in day care with other dogs. Eating anything substantial during the day mixed with higher levels of physical activity can impact on a dogs health. Please therefore make sure you give your dog its breakfast before dropping him or her off with us for day care.

Dog owners should be aware of the risk of bloating (Gastric Dilation and Volvulus) which is a rapidly progressive life-threatening condition of dogs which increases when dogs participate in vigorous activity within one hour after feeding. If you wish us to provide your dog with a small meal, we will do so on your direction, feeding them separately and then keeping the dog separated from any other dogs for a minimum period of time.

Fleas and ticks

Fleas and ticks are easily transmitted from dog to dog and we ask that you treat your dog with a veterinarian-approved flea and tick preventative. We also strongly encourage the regular administration of a heartworm preventative due to the highly active nature of the doggy daycare.

Collars

All dogs that come into our care should wear a collar complete with name tag and should be on a lead when being dropped off. All dogs that come into our care should also be microchipped.

Associated Day Care and Home Boarding Risks

When leaving your dog with us for day care or home boarding, dog owners do so on the understanding that supervised off-lead socialisation and interaction between our dogs is encouraged. Dog owners also acknowledge that dogs are unpredictable in behaviour and are aware of the risks involved in such play and assume all risks.

Payment Terms

Our standard payment terms are payment in full and upfront prior to your dog coming into our care us unless otherwise agreed. Payment may be made by bank transfer or cash. Please note we do no longer accept cheque payments. Should, due unforeseen circumstances, payment not be made on time as agreed both both parties, we reserve the right to adjust any late payments at the rate of 5% of the total outstanding bill owed pcm for bad debtors.
